Busta Rhymes Former Bodyguard Shot Dead

A man who used to work security for rapper Busta Rhymes was shot
multiple times and found dead in the back of his pickup truck on
Wednesday (May 28th).
Jermaine Williams, 35, of the Bronx, was found dead from multiple
gunshot wounds in Ozone Park, Queens.
Police
found blood dripping from the backseat of his SUV when they discovered
Williams' body, which was wrapped in a blanket in the backseat of the
SUV.
Sources have confirmed that Williams, also known as
“Black,” was once Rhymes' bodyguard, although he had not been employed
by Rhymes for almost eight years.
Busta Rhymes has been on a tour of Europe and was not in the country at the time of the incident sources said.
Williams,
who leaves behind two children, reportedly went to Queens to visit his
grandmother and ended up missing for almost 24 hours.
Police are still seeking the suspects who committed the murder.
Busta
Rhymes' former bodyguard Israel Ramirez was shot dead on February 5,
2006, outside of a warehouse, where a music video for the remix to
Rhymes’ single “Touch It” was being shot.
Ramirez, 29, was shot in the chest in front of the building, where as many as 500 people may have witnessed the shooting.
To date, a shooter has never been identified and Rhymes has denied any knowledge of Ramirez’ shooting. |

R. KELLY WITNESS RETURNS TO ATLANTA

R. Kelly Witness Returns to Atlanta
The woman who prosecutors say could blow the R. Kelly child molestation case wide open returned to Atlanta yesterday after her scheduled testimony was delayed for two days.
Lisa Van Allen, 27, is the prosecution’s star witness who allegedly
had a three-way sexual encounter with Kelly and the 13-year old girl at
the center of the case against Kelly. Allen is expected to return to
Chicago to testify on Monday.
Allen’s testimony was delayed because the defense flew in a witness
from Atlanta who, according to the judge, could undermine her
credibility.
The defense witness, Damon Pryor, arrived in Chicago on Wednesday
night at the expense of R. Kelly. Once in Chicago, Pryor refused to
give the prosecution his Social Security number for a background check
to verify he is who he says he is.
The judge refused to allow Pryor’s testimony without a background check.
Additionally, a video expert testified Thursday that a dark area on Kelly’s back “corresponds” with a mole on Kelly’s back.
The expert also said it was “impossible” the tape had been digitally altered. (Source)

50 Cent Reacts To Fire, Looking Forward To "Thorough Investigation"
In
light of the recent fire that engulfed 50 Cent's $1.4 million house,
where his ex and son lived, a rep for the G-Unit Capo has issued a
statement.
"Informed this morning while filming a new motion picture on location
in Louisiana, Curtis Jackson expressed deep concern over this fire at
his property," a rep told TMZ. "He is extremely thankful that everyone
including his son, Marquise, escaped the burning house safely. He is
confident that authorities will be conducting a thorough investigation
of the incident and is eager to review their findings."
As SOHH previously reported, early this morning a raging fire gutted
the Dix Hills home, causing 50 Cent's ex-girlfriend Shaniqua Tomkins
and 10-year-old son Marquise to suffer smoke inhalation.
"She was all right," eyewitness Frank Hoyte, a Newsday employee said, "But she was angry."
Hoyte said Tompkins stood in her bathrobe barefoot outside the home
while it burned. Two young boys, one of them Marquise, two teenage
girls and "an older woman" were also standing with Tompkins.
According to Suffolk County Police and fire officials the fire was
reported at 5 a.m. One of the first firefighters to arrive on the scene
characterized the fire as suspicious based on how quickly the home was
engulfed.
"The rapid movement of the fire. The volume of the fire . . . It was
engulfed. The home was totally gutted," Dix Hills Fire Dept. Chief
Larry Feld told Newsday of the scene. "I would say there is a strong --
a strong, strong -- possibility that it is suspicious."
The home, which is located at 2 Sandra Drive, has been part of a
contentious court battle between 50 and Tompkins. ...
